 About Dr. Jane Hochberg

    

     After graduating from Smith College, Dr. Hochberg earned a M.A. in Behavioral Science and a Professional Diploma in School Psychology from Kean College and a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Rutgers University.

     She is a licensed psychologist in New Jersey.  She is listed in the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.

     Although Dr. Hochberg's practice is currently limited to seniors, her background with all age groups provides perspectives in helping them deal with family issues.  Her experience includes helping people from all walks of life.  She worked as a school psychologist for the West Orange N.J. Public Schools.   At the Family Service and Child Guidance Center of Orange N.J., she was Director of Special Education, Founder and Director of its School for emotionally disturbed children, and Director of Clinical Services, providing charitable services for children and adults from disadvantaged backgrounds and consulting to community programs.  For 20 years, she was a consultant to the Pingry School. 

      Dr. Hochberg continues to distinguish herself in professional associations.
